DO NOT TAKE PURDY STREET! Use the entrance road about 100 yards further West. Google sent me down Purdy and it is a dead end with huge rocks blocking you from the park. My 38 foot winnebagoo couldn't turn around, had to take a very uneven and skinny dirt road back towards the highway...there are giant boulders on it, one tore out my ex... more
DO NOT TAKE PURDY STREET! Use the entrance road about 100 yards further West. Google sent me down Purdy and it is a dead end with huge rocks blocking you from the park. My 38 foot winnebagoo couldn't turn around, had to take a very uneven and skinny dirt road back towards the highway...there are giant boulders on it, one tore out my expanding steps. 🤬 Otherwise a lovely quiet spot with many large sycamores changing color. Small, short sites very close together, the last 15 feet of my rv is hanging out in space.

The shower was dirty and there were numerous bottles of toiletries and used washcloths hanging to dry……..appears someone is living here and considers it their own personal shower……it was creepy! The entire bath facility was old and run down. Dogs were running loose and there was “evidence” that some folks don’t pick up after their dog... more

The entire bath facility was old and run down. Dogs were running loose and there was “evidence” that some folks don’t pick up after their dogs. Most sites were too small for our 24’ motorhome. The price has gone up to $30 per night for electric; I only saw a couple of sites without electric ($20) and they were only suitable for a small vehicle and tent. Had planned on staying here two nights, doing laundry in town, eating meals at a couple of the local restaurants, and buying some groceries. However, given the state of the campground we moved on.

Overall Rating
Most of the sites are small and very close together but they were mostly empty and it was peaceful and quiet. There is only electricity at the sites. Water and dump station are available next to the toilets. We did not use the toilets. The site was level and paved.

Locals use it as a shortcut and drive right past your short site
Tickets on site markers are weeks old.
Quiet except for local traffic passing thru.
