Awesome sire quiet good road off hwy. Clean well maintained site fairly new pit toilet ringed fireplaces, secured trash from animals. our pickup and camper fit nice in site. Not good probably for large fifth wheels or motor homes for turn around. Would definitely stay again

This is a very nice campground, for free. This is a deer camp. At least that what it was being used for, this time of year. They have hanging poles for game, pit toilets, that are cleaned daily. 12 sites, some large enough for rigs 33’ spotty cell service. No water, or hook ups of any kind. Bring your solar power. We drove in to see if there was any cell service, but with Verizon we didn't have any cell service. When we arrived there were a lot of tents set, so we figured it to be a scout outing.
We turned around and left only because the cell service was bad.

Arrived in a rain storm that persisted our entire stay so we didn’t get a chance to take a hike. The road in was satisfactory with some mild washboard and a few shallow holes. The sites are back in and no turn around circle probably not good for a large class A.
Looks like there are hanging stations for hunters. Probably a busy CG in the hunting season.
No cell service AT&T or Verizon. We did get it on our way out on the road at one spot but lost it again when we hit 375.

The 3 mile road in was pretty good, early summer 2019.
Arrived on a Friday to see a work group putting up new signage and a newly installed pit toilet.
Suitable for big rigs. We were the only ones there.
Other reviewers did a good job describing the campground.

It's a good gravel road, 3 miles off of 395, south of termo California. Very quiet camp at this time anyway, mid-september. We only stayed one night as we are on our way to Arizona. It was worth the drive down the Gravel Road. It had plenty of serviced garbage cans, a pit toilet , picnic tables and fire Rings which we did not use. It also had two structures that each had two game hooks on them with a nice pulley system. There is water from the spring but it is not tested therefore I would recommend filter system.
This camp is free but they do leave envelopes to make a donation. Left them $5.

I don't remember any cell service. We use it as a transit boondock site. There is no fee but donations can be made at the entry to the CG. This site is probably very busy during hunting season as it incorporates a horse camp in the area,.
