This campground is located at the interaction of 131 and 10 but you really don’t hear much noise from the highway. It is connected to the city trail which is surprisingly nice. Each lot is covered with leveled gravel, with grass around it, a picnic table and fire pit. Electric (30 & 15 amp) and water at the site, dump station on the w... more
This campground is located at the interaction of 131 and 10 but you really don’t hear much noise from the highway. It is connected to the city trail which is surprisingly nice. Each lot is covered with leveled gravel, with grass around it, a picnic table and fire pit. Electric (30 & 15 amp) and water at the site, dump station on the way out. Sink and toilets available, shower room inside the bathroom has a separated door with lock, do ask on-site camp manager for a key to access the shower room. The size of the shower room is XXXL (very very very large). Camp manager is also very helpful. Do call her (Mrs. Mickey … spelling?) and ask for availability. For $20 per night, this is a bargain and u won’t be disappointed. Verizon has strong signals.

This campground is located at the edge of the city in a residential neighborhood. Our rig is on gravel, with grass around it, a picnic table and fire pit. This campground is located at the edge of the city in a residential neighborhood. Our rig is on gravel, with grass around it, a picnic table and fire pit. Electric (30 amp) and water at the site, dump station on the way out. Plenty of shade trees, easy to back our 5th into the site. Sink and toilets available, there was a door marked Shower, but it was locked. Not sure if it was unavailable or in use. We are self contained, so it was not an issue. Great lay ground for kids and a dog run available for dog owners.

Reed City did things right when they built a small RV Park within a City Park. 30 amp with water and a dump station. Playground, and a hiking trail that goes right into town. But on Friday nights they have a Stage where local bands come in and play live music. 13 spots. Reservations can be made by calling the Camphost. A great place to stay while driving up to the UP off of 131.
