Very very close together campsites. Very very rundown part. Maybe good as a last resort. We passed and we on to Possum Kingdom State Park.

I would recommend to use the boat lunch entrance from Route 380 to get to the RV campsites, as the highway is very busy and it makes for an easier turn in from it. Then take the first road to the right to enter the park and RV area. Don't miss the turn as there is not safe place to turn around and head back for quite aways. Site... more

Sites are all asphalt with water and 30 and 50 amp service, and there is a dump station. Most are on a grade and so you may want to drive to the end and pull through to uphill side. Traffic noise is large during the daytime, but quiets down around 10 PM. There are grocery stores and restaurants nearby. All in all this is a good place to spend a night or two when traveling through Texas.

We spent the night. The campground sits right on the lake. Electric and water hookups worked fine. There is some road noise, but it quieted down at night. No restroom facilities is the main reason I gave it a 4

Located right on the waterfront, but next to a highway busy in the mornings and afternoon. Road noise isn't intolerable, but noticable. Site pads are asphalt, water and 30/50 amp electric. Traveling the backroads through Texas Hill Country on the way to Fredericksburg this was a good find. Cheap and filling as they say!
