Overall I would stay here again as the location is within walking distance, about 45 minutes, to Decorah and Pulpit Rock Brewery. The bike path is a great ride and runs through the park. My site was well shaded and level, even though as others have said they are pretty jammed in. However, this park is in need of a facelift and it could use a little TLC from the staff. The bathrooms were unpleasant and I wouldn’t use the shower. The entrance was sloppy and untidy. But, I give it four stars as it fit all my needs.

We had a great time here. Super cute fire pits with the CG name on them, and fantastic trails nearby that you can access easily from the campground.
Very friendly and helpful check in.
Sites are close together and there's no screening in between, or at least where we were. We camped with friends so that gave us a bit of a buffer. Lots of families and children enjoying the river/stream that flows through the campground.
You can walk into the super little town of Deborah from the CG. Great breweries around. We highly recommend a stay here and a visit to what's around it.

Pros: This park is right off the highway, so incredibly easy access. The dump station was also very easy and the bathroom/shower house was very clean and accessible. Twin Springs creek runs through it, so the park is split up into a few parts. There were multiple hiking trails that were just a few steps away and it's Trout Run paved trail also goes through the campground. They also sell great bundles of wood for only $5. The only cons we had was that $35 for just electric seemed a bit pricey and in our particular case the electric box was so far from our campsite that our 25ft extension chord for our 30 amp connector wouldn't reach...so if you have 50ft chord you'll be fine. Also being right off the highway is great access, however, the highway traffic was still a bit loud, especially if you had jake breaking semis pass by. But this place is gorgeous and there is something for everyone being as your so close to downtown!

Even though this park is fairly crowded, it didn't feel that way and it was quiet. Our site was large, though electric awkwardly located for our small van. Creek is lovely, lots of grass and walking paths in every direction,. Husb reports bathhouse was clean, modern and well ventilated. Easy to pop in Decorah for dinner.

Kids played in the stream constantly and when they weren't, fly fisherman were catching trout. The park is next to and below Highway 52 so truck noise during the day can be loud. At night it wasn't bad. Campground staff were friendly and accommodating.

The bathroom is ok, the showers look like your typical showers at an outdoor campground. It’s obviously cleaned frequently, but by the end of the day, the floors are pretty dirty. They are very spacious though, so that’s nice. Wear shower shoes and you will be fine. You’re here for the camping, not the showers.
Despite the less than appealing showers, the campground is amazing. Site 160 was one of the closest spots to the road, and while the road noise was tolerable in the afternoon, there was almost no noise after about 6:30. And even though my site was the closest to the road, it was still a good way away, with a massive amount of lawn between my spot and the road.
Plan to spend a few days here. It’s great!

We got a site for our first night and then had to move to a spot that wasn’t even a site but was still fantastic! They were so accommodating, I couldn’t believe it. Scott and Luke really went out of their way to ensure a great stay and help as many people as possible enjoy Decorah’s big festival. Decorah itself is a really fun town and the whole area is beautiful. I can’t wait to go back and check out this campground on a non festival weekend! The facilities were great, good showers and bathrooms, but dump station is a little tough being right by the entrance/exit lane—gets a little congested. Overall, I can’t over state how much we liked Pulpit Rock CG.
