The owners very nice and helpful. The resort is clean and quiet. It is a little tight, so if you have a big rig make sure you speak with Tom to make sure they can accommodate.
The location is ideal if you want to see all the sites like Rushmore and Crazy Horse, etc.
Stayed one night along the water in the dispersed area of Waters Point. Roads are dusty but perfectly fine. I think some of the access to the sites may be challenging for long rigs. We were fine getting into site 12 with a 27’ trailer.
The nearby construction (May 2024) makes it appear the site is inaccessible. It’s open - you just turn left on the gravel approach next to the construction area. Free and easy.
Spacious, tree filled sites. Gravel sites but relatively level. We loved that they’ve added a water fill and dump station here so you don’t have to go to the Game Lodge campground. The directions are a little unclear on leaving the water fill area to get around the camper loop, but that’s the only real issue. Showers were great. Our friends...
