Beautiful, clean and private with natural vegetation surrounding each camp site, but close enough to town for shopping and dining out. The nearby Pomo Bluffs has nice paved level trails along a stunning shoreline. I recommend staying here.

We stayed here 11/2023 & fell in love with the facility. The spaces range from Tent Camping all the way up to Full Hookups/50A connection. The majority of the (non Tent) spaces feel secluded from your neighbors thanks to a variety of bushes, shrubs & vines. Most spaces are pretty wide & deep allowing easy back in access for your rigs big & small. There is only 1 pull through spot if you come in with a massive setup. The best part is you are extremely close to the beach so you can at some time loudly hear the waves crashing.
Each space has a thick layer of small crushed stone so you don't kick up or track dust & dirt into your camper. The wood picnic tables are a meduim size, sturdy & movable and the fire pits are truck rims with a washing machine basin. The staff cleans out the ashes between each guest & you can move them where you please.
WiFi is spotty but that's because they need numberous repeaters to broadcast throughbthe trees & vegetation. The spot we had was right next to a repeater & was quite fast for streaming.
The facilities are well maintained & clean. Lawns are mowed, brush is cleared & trees are trimmed. The restroom building has nice clean toilets, showers & laundry. They even have a Meeting Room/Building next to it that is great for parties, dinners & other gatherings. I didn't inquire about the horseshoes themselves but they had 3 pits to use. At the north west side of the facility they have a rather nice fish cleaning facility as well. If you forgot basic camping supplies, want to rent a movie, grab a snack or ice, they have a store as well.
We found the rates to be reasonable at $60/ night for full hookups. They do have Military as well as Good Sam discounts which I believe saved us $5/night. They do not take ATM or Credit so Cash is King & they do take personal checks as well.
The facility is easily found off Highway 1 a half mile south of the Simpson Ln Roundabout on Tregoning Dr with a large sign at the Highway.

We love this RV park. Haven't stayed her for a couple of years and it's still as lovely as remembered. Most of the sites are so private and you can't even see your neighbor. Clean and quiet. Cable TV was pretty good. Cell reception is pretty spotty as it normally is along the coast. Our Tmobile hotspot got best signal.

I stayed in site 39 and my in-laws stayed in site 38. GREAT setup if you want to camp with someone as you both share a common "driveway" into your sites. The driveway itself is long enough and wide enough that two more cars can park in front of your truck and trailer with room to spare. But even if you get one of these sites and aren't camping with the person in the next site over, there is still great privacy between the two.
What keeps this from getting five stars is the typical, next to useless RV campground wi-fi. However, if I just walked up to the road in front of our sites I got signal that wouldn't constantly drop me, so perhaps a wi-fi extender would be all that's needed.
Also, reservations and payments are 100% old school. Online reservations are not a thing here - you have to call to reserve a site. And, online payment is not a thing, either. You must mail in a check for your reservation deposit, and then you must pay the balance due upon arrival via check or cash. NO credit cards accepted.
Cell service on Verizon is next to useless, as well. Voice calls are okay but the 1 bar of LTE was completely unusable. But this, of course, is not the campground's fault. Just be aware if you rely on cell service for data you probably won't have any. I logged -125 dBM 15 asu on my phone. Which is BAD.
With the above caveats, know that this is a GREAT location within 20 minutes or less to many activities in Fort Bragg and Mendocino. And again, the sites at this park are spacious, private and woodsy.
Also, the "fire pits" are actually old washing machine drums set on top of truck rims which you can move to where ever you like. They may not be attractive, but boy do they work well! Like a poor-man's Solo Stove. We've been using oak, which has been horribly smoky at home, but was totally smokeless in these fire pits due to all of the holes in the washer drums providing plenty of air. So don't let the look disappoint you, rather bask in the heat of a smokeless fire!

Stayed here in our 32' 5th wheel with friends in site next to us. Had to mail in a check for first night's deposit and wait for mailed confirmation. Cash or check upon arrival. Good Sam discount was helpful as we were charged $5/night for our 11 year old grandson (pets are also $5/night extra...our friends' son brought his 5 children and 2 dogs so he nearly paid for a second site! None of us were aware of the extra fees before arrival.).
Our rate was for water/30 amp as it was $4/night extra for 50 amp, which was on our power box but had a lock on it (as a 50 amp 5th wheel we used our adapter...60 degree weather didn't need a/c). Dump in far corner of park was fairly easy to access on the way out. Most sites have sewer and are $2 more per night.
Our fairly level site was up top so cell service was a bit better (Verizon and ATT) than elsewhere but still struggled at times. Pretty folliage, clean bathrooms (showers cost "extra," 50 cents for 3 minutes), and reasonable laundry (3 washers, 4 dryers). Firewood can be bought onsite and used in provided dryer drums. Folliage around the roads could use some trimming as we often scrapped bushes. Quiet at night.
We would not stay here again due to the "extra" fees and Hwy 20 from 101 is a difficult road to maneuver in a large RV. Fort Bragg is a nice town (Safeway grocery is pricier compared to other stores) and the coast is stunning, so glad we got to see this section, but once is enough!

Some sites were private, others were semi-private...which, had they been full, would have been too close. 60B was directly behind 60A, I guess if you were traveling with someone else would be ok. WiFi was unusable, cell coverage very weak for both Verizon and ATT. Too far from the beach or town to bike or walk. Quiet though, we could hear the ocean at night. Full hookups a plus, cable TV was good. Only one dumpster near us, and was overflowing! No online reservations.

I did not cancel the reservation nor did I plan to. The lady I talked to was extremely rude, I can see why so many people say the staff is horrible. First of all, we chose this park from its Good Sam rating of 9/10*/10. Thought it odd that when making reservations, you had to call, call, call due to no answer or instant busy signal. Second, the don’t do credit cards...cash or check...which has to be mailed in. No email either...they snail mail you your confirmation. This doesn’t work if you are on the road. Their billboard advertises they are the best park in the area. Well if they are, avoid them. Yes, the park is big, yes you have some privacy sites, but their internet is awful, and I mean awful. Half the time it drops you or is unavailable. Cell service is terrible in Fort Bragg for Verizon. To say we were disappointed was an understatement all because we are use to a 9 and 10 star Good Sam rating meaning a clean nice big facility with stuff. How they got this rating is beyond me. You pay $4 extra for 50 amp per night. The sites aren’t all that level and most are back ins. There is a lot of dust and overgrown shrubbery, which is there site privacy. My allergies have been terrible since arriving. Their cable for cable TV is okay tho. No sure what the attraction to this area is. We are native Californians and have wanted to come up this way but now that we have...been there done that, and frankly wouldn’t recommend you bother. The roads to here from the North, South, and West are two layers and full or curves, some extremely tight. Take yourself somewhere else. And the one thing I learned is I am going to Google Earth every reservation from now on to see a birds eye view. Had I done that, we wouldn’t have been there, and wouldn’t have lost a day of prepay due to our leaving early to go somewhere fun and better.
