You'd have to look at the 7 to 10 days leading up to your trip to gauge mosquito density. If it's been hot and humid with rain like it was last week, then expect a large hatch. Prepare for the worst, hope for the best.

Looking to camp this next week. How are the mosquitoes?

I've camped here but also live south of there along the Lakeshore for much of the summer. Right now they aren't bad. But the answer is, it depends. In general, deep in the woods, with summer heat and moisture they can be pretty bad. I haven't been to Point Beach this year though.
