The dusty gravel road off the highway takes about 20 minutes but it’s usually maintained enough where you could bring a small travel trailer. Larger rigs need a capable pilot to navigate some tight turns into the campground.

I hear that on certain nights the UofO Observatory will allow walk in visitors to take a peek through the telescope (unverified, however).
Note: the washboard road up the many miles to the peak is horrendous--one of the worst and longest I've ever experienced. No not try to bring a fragile trailer up there. How bad? I lost a hubcap and ran it over with my trailer!!! Good times.
