We were looking for a quick overnight place to stay. Found this here on Campendium. It stated price was $10 for campers and $5 for tent. Board at site states $30 for campers and $10 for tents. We could have had full hookup for $30 in Dexter. But after the 10 plus miles of dirt roads our GPS sent us on, we weren’t moving on. No real des... more

We could have had full hookup for $30 in Dexter. But after the 10 plus miles of dirt roads our GPS sent us on, we weren’t moving on. No real designation of sites. They are just strewn around the park. Some sites have picnic tables. Some don’t. Same with grills. One site has electric. A few have water. The electric site has no water. We pulled our rig by the trees, closer to the road due to the 25+ mph winds. Bit noisy from the numerous vehicles flying by. View was good. No other campers here.
Pit toilets were filthy. But the park was well manicured.

The sun sets right over the river and the night sky was nice. A ranger drove through twice and aside from one other couple way down the end and two teens who stopped by to fish we were alone. I think you can also camp in the grassy area by the pavilion, as here we’re grills and fire rings there. It’s a pretty little park, but don’t go here if you’re looking for privacy you won’t have it here. Great little stopover though.

$10/night for campers and $5/night for tents, there’s a pay box. Has picnic tables, fire rings, playground/swing set, vault toilets, water spigot, and electric hookups. The road noise can be a bit loud, but other than that definitely a nice place to stop!

Pulled in for an overnight stop in our way from WI to MT. $10 cash for RVs to stay, $5 for tents. There appeared to only be one electric hookup, which was occupied by the time we pulled in. We boondocked and it was just fine. Clean area right off the road. Was a bit worried about road noise, but the traffic stopped around 10PM. Super dark, so we were able to see the stars well!

Cheap, about 15 minutes off of the 90. First come, first serve. Right off of the main road, so it was noisy during the day. Park like setting, with a nice water feature (no swimming). Swings and a playground. Several areas for tent camping. Fire rings and tables at all sites. Only saw a few sites big enough for rvs or trailers, but didn’t explore the other side of the park. Police officer patrolled right after we arrived, which makes me feel safe! Sign says they patrol throughout the day and night. Pay by envelope. Vault toilet. Garbages. Could not find a water spigot. Wouldn’t stay more then one night, but great for a one night stop over!
