Overall Rating
Nice quiet campground in the small village of Pilger. No frills, not many amenities — just like most city parks that offer camping. No reservations and no staff, but these really aren’t needed. We stopped in on the 4th of July and 2 of the 5 spots were open. It’s just an easy to get to and affordable place to camp over for a night if you’re traveling Hwy 275.
Electric sites with water. Pads are level and crushed white rock. Trash bins at each site. Adjacent to a baseball field and pool if you are interested in those. Small gas station just a couple blocks away.
$10 per night, which you pay at the city offices a few blocks away.
