This park has easy on-line reservations. There is a host that welcomes you from 8 am until sunset. The spots are nicely spaced gravel back in sites. Electrical is handy but water is a long ways away (they advise 125 foot hose). The sites are pretty level (mine was perfectly level). There are nice private family showers/toilets a short walk from just about every site. These are clean and have hot water. There is access to a lake for swimming, fishing and boating. There are nice walking trails (3 miles total) that could also accommodate fat tire bikes. There is a dump station on the way out that is free to campers. No TV reception. 2 bars of LTE cell coverage so streaming was slow at times. Every site has a picnic table and a fire ring. Wood is available at the store. This would be a wonderful family spot if you bring all your lake gear.

Great customer service from the “house keeper”. Very nice and clean bathrooms. Price point is great. Only downfall is the water hookup and it might only be at this specific site. If it weren’t for our neighboring camper, we wouldn’t have had water because our water hookup is in the neighboring lot. That seemed a little silly.

A perfect setting for a c/g, on a small prairie lake set amongst rolling wooded hills in farm country just one hour west of Minneapolis. Not a bad site in the place, almost all are shaded by large mature oak, ash and maple trees. The sites are gravel as are the access roads. Water and electric service require longer connections as they serve two sites. Sites nicely spaced for privacy yet open under the large trees. Everything is well maintained.
The downside is poor cell and Internet reception.
The plus is the park is remote, quiet, pastoral and friendly. Yu will need gps or Siri to guide you in, but it is well worth the effort.
