Staying here again. Such a lovely little park and it's free! Decent cell service, local channels reachable by antenna. Ignore the older negative reviews that were posted during covid years. Beautiful paved road in.
Paved fairly level parking for about 20 smaller RVs.
Grassy! Picnic tables and Hibachi grills Clean-ish pit toilets.
Quiet
ATT and Verizon with 4MB and 6MB respectively.
I pulled in 11 TV stations mostly Spanish,
3 night Max stay allowed for Free. Must be self contained.

This is a very nice, grassy (yes in the desert) campground. It was made as a day-use picnic area so it’s basically a flat parking lot that you just find a spot and stay. 3 day limit and only facility is a vault toilet. But it’s right on the Colorado River, at the dam, and very quiet. I don’t know if I can get the GPS co-ordinates c... more
This is a very nice, grassy (yes in the desert) campground. It was made as a day-use picnic area so it’s basically a flat parking lot that you just find a spot and stay. 3 day limit and only facility is a vault toilet. But it’s right on the Colorado River, at the dam, and very quiet. I don’t know if I can get the GPS co-ordinates changed but the map location is incorrect. There are NO signs about this being a campground on the main road. Just keep following the paved road back, past the Dead End signs and you’ll come around a building and there it is. If you park where the GPS says, it’s a flat dirt area in front of the building and is pretty dismal looking.
