Overall Rating

Loved our stay here on Oct. 7th. Quiet, and beautiful with the fall colors. Took a walk on the trail down by the lake. Small playground with swings. Has a good combination of open and private campsites.

Overall Rating

Chef.Nick said all there is to say about the entry road. It is improved gravel, high clearance isn’t required just take slow and easy and you’ll be OK. Their is a mix of FCFS and reservable sites, when we arrived Sunday about 4 PM without reservations there were plenty of choices.

My wife and I stayed here the few night before going to see my parents about an hr from here... it was a long slow drive into the park the road was wash boarded on the hills and was a rough go... when we got here we drove in and took a few loops to figure out what sight we wanted most all of them had reserved sticker on them bc the wee... more
