“Quiet and by the River”

We stayed here mid May and the weather was perfect.
It was full when we were there, but everyone was nice and there wasn’t any noise.
It was very clean and there were several paths to walk on which were paved.
Our two small kids loved it. We would stay again.

“Paved Sites and Trails”

This site is the best along the South Fork Ogden River going up to Causey Reservoir. It has paved roads, and trails that circle the entire camp. Along the trail are many benches to sit and relax along the river. There are many sites to pick from and a few large group sites as well.
Each site is paved and has a picnic table and fire pit. There are also areas to setup a tent if you wished.
The drive up to the campsite is easy; no steep roads or inclines. The campground is easy to navigate with any type of rig. The parking was a breeze as we did not have to level our trailer.
We went for the first week that it was open and it wasn't too crowded. It does get busier as time goes by.
Along the trail around the campground are two different playgrounds. They are outdated and not on the "safe side". They are the same types that I grew up with and I turned out fine...
The river can be enjoyed by fishing or swimming. While we were there, no one was swimming (a little too cold) but there were plenty of fishing going on. Later in the year, many campers will tube down the river.
The camp hosts are very nice and friendly. We ended up having both of our batteries die during the night and couldn't get our slide back in. They have power at their site and were happy to run an extension cord to our trailer to get us going again.
The only bad thing about this site was the vaulted toilets and the cost. It is one of the most expensive sites we been too that didn't have full hookups. However, all the sites along this river cost the same. This one is by far the cleanest and easiest to camp in.
Curt would stay here again
