We stayed for a weekend and had booked our trip a couple weeks out. Facility is very clean. I would say to definitely read all of the rules for the campsite. They offer zero refunds for any reason. Also they lock the gates to the campground at 10:30 with no exceptions. If you have an event that goes later then you are stuck parking in ... more
We stayed for a weekend and had booked our trip a couple weeks out. Facility is very clean. I would say to definitely read all of the rules for the campsite. They offer zero refunds for any reason. Also they lock the gates to the campground at 10:30 with no exceptions. If you have an event that goes later then you are stuck parking in the parking lot and walking to your campsite. They are very specific with their rules so just make sure to read them very carefully before even booking.

We had two nights reserved a month out when the city canceled the BBQ contest that we were scheduled to judge. Be aware there are no refunds even a month out!

We stayed at Terrace Park 7/22 - 7/25/2022 while exploring Davenport/Rock Island area. We got there at 1:30 on a Friday and had our pick of several sites. Beautiful park with helpful county staff. Our site backed up to the main road, so we heard occasional noisy farm machinery and trucks passing during the day, but after sunset it was ... more

Our site backed up to the main road, so we heard occasional noisy farm machinery and trucks passing during the day, but after sunset it was VERY quiet.

Rolled in for one night. Staff was so helpful and we had the pick of the campground, “just go find a spot and come back and let me know.” Great rate for FULL HOOKUPS! Well-maintained lawns and park. 10/10

We stopped at the office upon arrival and were told to pick an open site and return to office to pay camp fee. The staff was friendly and provided recommendations for a great nearby restaurant, El Campita. The campground is also 5 minutes away from a Camping World. We stopped at the office upon arrival and were told to pick an open site and return to office to pay camp fee. The staff was friendly and provided recommendations for a great nearby restaurant, El Campita. The campground is also 5 minutes away from a Camping World.
The gravel pads were fairly level and easy to back in. Many of the campers had their sites decorated for Halloween. If we were not on a bee line on this trip, it would have been an nice park to stay for a while.
It is a first come first serve campground, but when we arrived on a Sunday they had lots of open spots available. The price is very good for full hookups.

The price is right for this stopover type park. Staff very helpful and friendly. Site was gravel back-in, utilities at the far back of the site. The price is right for this stopover type park. Staff very helpful and friendly. Site was gravel back-in, utilities at the far back of the site. Water pressure is terribly low here, two sites share a T'd water faucet. Unfortunately, at the time of our stay the lakes were all dry. We tried to ride bicycles on the mapped trail but easily got off the path, no trail markings and easy to go astray. Good location to explore Davenport.

Called ahead was told first come first served but they had room. Nothing fancy but a well maintained campground with very helpful staff. Cant beat the $25 per night fee. Would definitely stay again.

We were in Davenport and I saw the review on Campendium. I called the number on the web site and they gave us great info and told us to go right to site. A ranger cane latter on and collected the camping fee. Nice clean park with level pull thrus.

Nice campground, close to hwy. Bathrooms and showers were pretty clean, though the shower heads had many mineral deposits blocking the spray and the drain was rather slow. Nice campground, close to hwy. Bathrooms and showers were pretty clean, though the shower heads had many mineral deposits blocking the spray and the drain was rather slow. The water and sewer hookups were off for the season but our 30amp service was good. Note that dump station is more easily accessed on your way into the campground because of the way it's situated. There is a nice playground near the front of the park, most easily accessed from the first few sites. Picnic tables and fire rings are at each site and are in good shape.
