We arrived around 3:30 in the afternoon to find we had to go to the city building and pay $20 for our overnight stay (can stay 3 days for the money but if we had somewhere else to go, we’d be leaving our $20 behind. ). They are only open M-F 8-4, so I don’t know what you do otherwise. You have to park your camper on the dirt road in front of the site then walk up a small hill because there’s no access and you’re not permitted to park on the grass. There are tables, fire rings, trash can, and water pump on each site. Sites are just lined up beside each other. Apparently people aren’t crazy about using trash cans. Pretty dirty. No other campers here but a passed out fellow in a running truck is parked near us. He’s been this way for a couple of hours now. I guess he’ll wake up or the truck will run out of gas.

I wasn't sure where we were allowed to park, but the gravel road was quite a ways away from the picnic table, so I pulled onto the grass next to the picnic table. Watch for low branches on the trees.
Looks like an enjoyable place where families come to sit and eat lunch or walk their dogs. We had a quiet night with no uninvited visitors.
Yes, you'll hear some nearby train noise.
Bob K would stay here again

As far as the local authorities they are really nice The number you have to call to register to camp there the lady was nice enough to bring me the paperwork on her lunch break a police officer came on my second night and told me you are not allowed to park on the grass but since I was set up he let me stay and I still ended up leaving in the morning because of the guy looking peoples cars
