Overview of Ouabache Park Campground

Ouabache Park campsites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Campers must complete an application and pay a non-refundable fee of $20.00. Applications are available at the City Clerk’s office from 8 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday, except holidays or by calling 765-762-2467. Once the application is complete and the fee paid the camper will be given a permit with a city seal as proof of registration.

We arrived around 3:30 in the afternoon to find we had to go to the city building and pay $20 for our overnight stay (can stay 3 days for the money but if we had somewhere else to go, we’d be leaving our $20 behind. ). My wife and I stayed for one night and were joined by another couple from Minnesota traveling in a teardrop tow-behind. The park is very green and well taken care of. The park was ok but some of the local people not to sure about. Had a couple of old men harassing a young lady camp next to me so she spent a lot of her time up talking with me so they would not bother her also had a guy looking in car windows at night plus half the people don’t leash there dogs or clean up after them .
