Nice campground with paved sites separated by lots of grass and small trees. There's a small swimming lake w/beach, slide and raft and a river with boat ramp but we didn't use either. The bathrooms and showers were clean and modern. Nice bikeway along the Ottawa River.
The $20 fee reflects our $5 senior discount.
Morses safari would stay here again

Johnny Appleseed Parks Ottawa Metro Park is one of the nicer county parks we've stayed in. The sites offer water and electric and a dump is available. Most of the sites are 30 amp with only a few 50 amp sites – 3 of which are handicapped. However, if the park is full the handicapped spots are available for anyone. The sites are paved, long and level. Lots of green grass between sites with some small trees. There is a lake with a beach and a disc golf course. A multi-use trail starts at the park and goes for about 10 miles. It's a nicely paved path but it runs through some, shall we say, colorful areas. It is very quiet at night. Busy on the weekends with lots of locals. The camp hosts were very friendly and helpful. This would get a higher rating if there were more 50 amps sites, sewer and WII FI. That's not asking for too much :) We camped here in a motorhome.
