We arrived after 6 pm. There were few campers at this location, maybe being fall or cooler temps but in any case this is a great location. Sorry we only stayed 1 night. There were trails and a beach/swimming area which is closed now for season but in any event, there appeared to be a lot to do. No sewer hookups but that’s not a deciding factor for the rating. The sites are paved and level. Water faucet is shared between 2 lots. Depending on which side one may need a longer water hose. The bathrooms were spotless! The water is nice and hot. No laundry facilities that I saw at the actual camping section. There may be something nearby. We were not in need. I do recommend this location.

Arrived on a Thursday in late September. Easy self-registration $30/night, $25/night for seniors. Level, paved, drive-through site. Water hookups are positioned at every-other site in the drive-through section so first arrivals get the sites with easier hookups. The park had low occupancy when we visited so this was no issue but on busy summer weekends an extra length of water hose may be required.
The park is well maintained, nicely landscaped, has walking trails and access to a swimming beach. Restrooms are clean and spacious. Friendly and helpful camp host has wood for sale. The back-in sites around the perimeter back up to a row of trees that offer some shade. Drive-through sites have small patches of shade from smaller trees. Trains can be heard frequently and throughout the night but the trainyard is far enough away to not be too intrusive. Great stop-over point.

We parked in the back corner against the tree line, next to the camp host. No trouble backing in a 40 foot 5th wheel. 30 amp hook up and water but bring a long hose (50 feet) from site.
The park has beautifully paved side walks, lake access, and a playground. Looks like a disc golf course in the nearest field of wild flower. Overall very pleased, clean and quiet campsite.

I like using my 30 amp Hughes Autofomer for electrical protection but each 30 amp outlet I’d test would trip. The place was pretty empty (Monday in Sept) and I tested quite a few sites. Host said he has heard that a lot. The 30 amps trip frequently because of the GFCI the campground uses.
Everything else about the campground that all other reviews mention is true. It is a very nice place with a lot to offer.
AT&T data is slow but usable if not in hurry. Didn’t try streaming but I bet it would be difficult.

Needed a quiet place to park while I worked from our trailer but close enough to visit friends in Wapakoneta (20 minutes away). This park was perfect! We arrived Labor Day (first come, first serve) and there were only a few rigs all week (some came in just for an overnight). Mostly filled up on Friday for the weekend but still very quiet. Bike/walking trails onsite, frisbee golf, clean restrooms/showers (water hottest in center handicap stall). Most sites are large back-ins but several large pull-thrus with easy access. Green grass, good space between sites, some trees for shade. Enjoyed it so much we extended our one-week stay to two weeks!
Camp hosts change weekly but all very nice. Self-registration (forms in mailbox at entrance, drop in box in bathhouse). Some train noise in the distance. Water spigots are every other site so make sure you have an extra long hose just in case. Our rate is a senior (60+) discount. Verizon worked well enough (we don't stream).

This park backs up to a 19 mike walk/bike trail that goes into town. Great for participating in such activities or just people watching! There’s also a small but beautiful arboretum with several trees to learn about. If you are traveling with kids, there’s a huge playground and swimming hole, plus a fishing pond. (All of which is closed during COVID). The camp hosts are super people. Would highly recommend this place! Also, easy on/off Route 30. Decent cell service and even good WiFi if you have your own hotspot. $25/night, $20 for seniors.

Each of the asphalt-paved, pull-through and back-in sites have partial hook-ups, a picnic table, and a fire pit. Clean showers and bathrooms in well-maintained cinder block building that proved useful as a shelter during the tornado warnings that happened during our stay. Friendly and helpful camp hosts on-site regularly. Check-in at 3 pm, check out at 12 pm.
The location was great for us as we have family in Lima, OH. As a bonus, the campground is directly adjacent to the Lauer Historical Farm (https://www.jampd.com/parks-facilities/lauer-historical-farm/) and is surrounded by paved bike trails.

Very nice walking/bike trail that loops through the park and then continues around town for a total of 13 miles. Beautiful arboretum, nice swimming lake and beach (for a cost,$1 off if you camp) outdoor amphitheater and disc golf course. Firewood is available for purhase and the dump station is easy to access. All sites have water and electricity, most 30 amp.
All are first come, first serve sites with self registration, host on site. We arived on a Wednesday and by the end of the day about 1/2 the sites were taken. I would imagine the weekends would be busier.
Some highway noise but not a problem for us. The park itself is very quiet.
Would love to find more parks like this one!
