Omussee Creek RV Park

Highly recommend, especially in February. It’s gorgeous and not too cold and easy to get in and out of nicely. Located 30 minutes east of Dothan. Very sweet owners, huge campsites, full hook ups for $30 per night all in.

Probably full all summer due to the nuclear plant and other places having maintenance and shutdowns, and what not.but in February there’s about 10 of us here for a 45 slot campground. It’s about seven minutes west of Bainbridge Georgia. Plenty of grocery plenty of convenience plenty of fuel. You should give it a try!

One small proviso there is a train track and a train does come through for nine of the days we were here. It came through once a day honked it torn once and then on our last day I came through several times, and actually honked his horn, but not during the night it was awesome.

We had to vacate of Florida State Park campsite as they were closing the park for a Tropical Storm Warning. We needed to move northwest to try an get out of the storm path. We fond this unrated park on Campendium. We need two or three nights. No staff on site that we saw. Called phone number (334-718-4553) to reserve a spot. Nice lady told us to pick site 15 or 16 when we arrived. You pay check or cash in a drop box. $30 a night with full hook up. I was expecting the worst but was relieved that it was not bad here. A few somewhat resident workers living here. No trash or permanent structures on any of the RV’s. Few travelers staying here. Most all rigs newer and in good condition. Big rig friendly and pretty wide campsites. Parking on grass. There is a laundry room with a bathroom. Not a vacation spot but good out of the way place for a overnight. Small town with 3 gas stations, True Value Hardware, DG and Piggly Wiggly within a mile or two. No restaurants to speak of.
