We were pleasantly surprised by how clean and well maintained the grounds are and how spacious each RV site is! Each has a grassy area with a picnic table and a fire pit. We love RV parks like this where you have plenty of breathing room between you and your neighbors. The staff were kind and helpful. Gate code required to enter plus a police station across the street all helped us to feel safe. As a family with young kids, we especially appreciated the wonderful playground just outside the RV Park (just a short walk across a parking lot) which sits adjacent to the Sheep River. Our kids loved the playground, which is frequented by many of the locals, and had a great time trying to catch little fish along the bank of the river. There is a paved path along the river too for kids to scooter or bike on too. Overall, great location being about 30 minutes south of Calgary. Loved being able to leave the busy city and enjoy the relaxed vibe at this campground. It’s conveniently located near major stores and restaurants, and coming from Southern California, we appreciated the racial diversity we saw here and in Calgary.
Only two issues (and one is a big one if you are trying to work remotely or do some Netfix binging):
1. Wifi is not free. You get the first hour free then you can pay by the day or by the week. If I’m remembering correctly, it’s around $5 a day and $15 a week. I paid for one day and it initially worked fine but had trouble with it later on. Ended up just using my data plan.
2. No laundry facilities on site. Nearest laundromat is a 4 minute drive away and is open from 7 am - 7 pm.
*Since we were visiting from the States, we drove to the nearby Walmart to buy sim cards since we were also having issues with international roaming.

Nice level pull thru and back in full service sites. Tent sites too. Friendly helpful hosts for check in and gave great directions to miss Calgary traffic. Great shopping close by. Campground is on the river and adjacent to community park. Easy access, nice clean restroom and coin showers.
Would definitely return.

Have stayed before without issue but this time when I questioned a low hanging tree branch that would drag along the top of my 5th wheel, I was promptly told to leave. The old guy that professes to be the "Manager" needs to learn that customers have opinions that need to be heard and addressed instead of him yelling and then kicking them off the property. Backin site are angled at 90 degrees to the driveway, so getting in without driving on the grass is impossible, which will also get you kicked out. Strongly recommend avoiding this campground! 0 STARS!
