We found this spot while on the road from Texas to Colorado. We thought we’d find a spot in nearby BLM but decided to pay for the RV park and take advantage of the springs. The actual RV park is more like camping (no concrete pads), but there is electrical and water hookup. We actually did not use the RV park facilities (they are coed, by the way).
What we really enjoyed were the mineral pools, the grounds, and the dining. It was a great experience (even in the rain). We went to the springs after 6pm- a little less expensive. You have access to all pools, the locker rooms, and they give you towels. The staff was great everywhere. We heard the restaurant and bar were fantastic, but we didn’t have a reservation so couldn’t get in until late, so decided to eat in. But we did have breakfast next next morning, which was reasonable for a unique and good menu. Also- they have free coffee starting at 6:30 am in the restaurant bar— if you want to grab and go some good organic brew!
There is WIFI which was decent.

This private campground is behind a gate on the Ojo Caliente Hot Springs property. There are sites for tents and RVs as well as rental trailers that are currently still under construction but look like they will be cool. There is a restroom building near the gate of the campground.
The campsites are mostly surrounded by trees and vegetation although some are more private than others. It seems the "tent sites" are closer together and less private than the larger RV sites which seems like a dumb idea. I mean, RVs at least have walls so the need for screening from your neighbor is a bit less important. Well, I am a tent camper so I am biased. Personally as a tent camper I would request to be in a more private, screened spot since all the spots cost the same!
The property has hiking trails and lovely places to explore. There is also a restaurant and of course the spa and hot springs. Note that the (high) campground fee does NOT INCLUDE hot springs access.

It looks like the RV camp is still under construction. Note that their maps indicate most of the sites are back in, but most of the sites have hookups at the left front corner or somewhere along the left side (looking into the site). Not such a problem from RV’s just pull in. But trailers may have an issue with some of the sites because of the location of the hook up relative to where they are on the trailer. Keep this in mind when scheduling your stay.
The sites are loose rocks and packed dirt and are not level, but ours was not far from level. Sites on the outer lanes seem to have a lot of room, while sites on the inner ring are narrow but have lot’s of vegetation to screen you from your neighbors. We are 34 feet long and were towing. We fit in site 11, but had to unhook because we had to pull in. Site 17 seems to be the best option for a long pull through and is near the creek.
We would definitely stay here again.
AT&T doesn’t exist here.
Spend the extra money and get a day pass to the pools then do some hiking. Perfect setting for both!

I enjoyed the weekday yoga + pool access for $27 + tax. I recommend the hiking trail to the Posi Pueblo site featuring lots of pottery sherds and views of Rio Ojo Caliente.
Use of dump station is $20 - even if you stay there which I think is a bit much.
No T-Mobile cell service; some AT&T coverage .
