Oak Knoll Campground

This is the down on its luck twin of Acorn campground around the lake. People let their dogs run loose. Play music during the day as loud as they want. If you're lucky you'll see a ranger once a day, but not at night, not when the dirtbags come out to yell and drink and get high and play loud music well into the night. Rusted out fire rings and grills, sites way, way, way too close to each other, and, due to the neglect of the campground, clouds and clouds and clouds and clouds of gnats and mosquitoes. and the absolute worst: thousands and thousands of goose droppings all over the place. I wish I could say that this could be a nice place during the week but there are too many negatives, and it just feels unsafe, and like you're on your own if you camp here.
