Admittedly, Gay, GA, is off the beaten path. However, we were so happy with our decision to incorporate this stay at the Nutty Acres Micro RV Park into our travels around the Atlanta area! The RV Park is in the back yard of a private home. It was very easy to find with the help of our GPS. Their driveway is paved and is nice and wide, allowing for an easy arrival and departure. Although there's room for only a handful of campers, the other 4 that were already there when we arrived seemed to be long-term residents. But we seldom saw other people. We were there for a week. The area is incredibly quiet. We had full hookups, and we especially appreciated the added bonus of complementary access to the laundry room, which was outfitted with one washer and two dryers. There was a large old 3-sided storage shed that our camper sidled up to, so the view out of those windows was not much to speak of. But, oh my goodness, the view out the other side was so incredibly beautiful!!!! We had full use of the expansive back yard, which included a fire pit (that we didn't use). The sunrises through the trees along the lower yard were magical. And lastly, I can't speak highly enough about the owners of the property. They were so very welcoming. I can see why someone would want to use this site as a long-term site. It's so well maintained, is incredibly beautiful, and the owners are splendid. We highly recommend this place!

The fires & the visits we had at the community fire pit were very memorable. The surrounding area was beautiful with the leaves changing colors. Short drive to Ingles grocery store (Woodbury) & really cool antique shops. Senoia was about :15 & Peach Tree City was just a few minutes more. ATL was about :50 drive for anyone who needs to taxi flying visitors. Mr Sam has free washer & dryer for laundering.
Such a great place! We can’t wait to get back here!

This is the kind of place that is a little hard to rate. We needed to be near Peachtree City and there is almost nothing close by except South Oaks near I-85 which we rejected without a second glance. So, for filling a need where there is nothing else in the area that is worth 5 stars.
The 8 or so campsites were in the backyard of a beautiful historic home that the owners are restoring. They are mostly occupied by longer term tenants with one or two spots for short term. The short term sites were FHU, but only 30 amp. They are relatively level, gravel/dirt base. We had a decent Verizon signal too check email, etc.
The owners are very personable and brought us some fresh vegetables after they realized they had put us in the wrong spot and asked us to move. Their house and surrounding area is beautiful. It was quiet for the most part which was very nice.
The cons are that there is very little space between the RVs and with longer term tenants, there is quite a bit of stuff strewn throughout their sites. Also, due to the very close spaces, when there was smoking in the next site, we smelled it. Another con is that it is a little remote and not particularly close to anything. But, since there is nothing else in the area with hookups, we were grateful to stay here in the summer heat.

Atlanta, full of attractions, is just a little further. We have stayed in various RV Parks throughout the greater Atlanta area and will never stay anywhere but here when coming back to Georgia. Nutty Acres is a hidden gem we stumbled across. My husband and I were traveling to Gay, GA to visit friends and looking for a place to stay with our fifth wheel. We found Nutty Acres on Campendium, and it was only 3 miles from our friends. It was perfect. Turns out Sam and his wife had at least 10-12 full hookups behind their home. When we arrived the owners were out of town for another day but had a friend come help us get settled into our spot. He not only guided us in the dark but helped us get our utilities set up as well. The neighbors even came out to introduce themselves and offer a hand. We felt like we were given concierge service and felt so welcomed. The next day we met Sam and then later his wife as well. It was a if we had met family we hadn’t seen in awhile. While we were there freezing temperatures were headed our way. Our water wasn’t set up for it so Sam generously helped us with some heat tape he had on hand for an ‘at cost’ price and taught us how to prepare. We had one of the best experiences in our travels over the past 6 months and will definitely come back. FREE laundry too! Nightly, Weekly & monthly rates!

Micro RV site is basically staying in the very large backyard if the owners. However, the people are friendly, the owners easy going and everything works. There is no sign so turn into the driveway of the large blue house at the address.

The Nutty Acres Micro RV park is a wonderful small private RV park in Gay GA. Sam and Jamie were awesome hosts and the location of this park worked out great for my wife and I. We were just 20 mins from Peachtree City and an easy drive up Hwy 85 to visit with family.
The Micro RV park sits behind a beautiful home that Sam & Jamie are renovating and has 2 large gates to access to their beautiful and spacious back yard where they have several full hookup spots arranged in various locations behind the house. We parked right behind the gate closest to the garage which kept us on gravel and they were able to accomodate our 42' 5th wheel and HDT truck without issue. They have laundry facilities on site and an outside shower you can enjoy when the weather is nice. They have a fenced in back yard and are dog friendly if that is important to you. This is an old Pecan farm so my wife loved going around picking up Pecans that had fallen. We loved the hospitality and will definitely be back here to stay!
They are located right off Hwy 85 so day time traffic noise does exists, but we found it very peacefull in the evening times with no issues. This isn't a busy highway at night, so that was not an issue at all.
