We travel for 6 months every year, hit a lot of campgrounds, boondocking sites and Harvest Hosts. This is a great quiet spot in the middle of NH. Loved listening to the babbling brook behind us. The owners are very accommodating and came out to help us back in, trimmed an overhanging tree branch, just great! (Like they wanted you to have a great experience there). Wasn't hot enough to get in the river or the pond but looked great for little kids. There is a hiking trail that goes off into the woods. Site I or J (water and 30amp) across from the playground was nice and level, easy to back into and worked well for our Starlink. We only experienced Sunday through Wed. so I don't know what it's like on weekends. There were only about 20-30 seasonal campers setup with no cars in front during the week. The pump out area has a tight turn around, would be better to use it on the way out. The town of Newport has a good selection of typical shops, a few fast food places, Advance Auto, Shaws grocery and a Job Lots bargain store. We did laundry at Best Dressed Laundry and had a decent experience.

Overall Rating
Our stay was awesome. Very friendly staff. Easy to get to. Layout is great. We choose a campsite near the entrance because it was nice and grassy and has direct access to the river. Very dog friendly. Our dogs loved the big campsite - we could play frisbee with ease and the direct access to the water. Even though we were near the entrance it’s set back from the main road and very quiet. Definitely go back again!
