Northern Edge Casino

We enjoyed our stay here, the parking lot isn't very level but otherwise we would definitely be willing to stay again if we are back in the area. The employees were all friendly and helpful. Security came around to check on us when we arrived and asked us to checkin at the security desk inside. We checked in at the security desk in the front entry to see if we need to fill out any paper work but they just thanked us for letting them know we were there and said we could stay. We ate a wonderful meal at their restaurant. The portions were very generous and the waitress kept our glasses filled and was very efficient. She even took a few moments to answer our questions about the area. We were in the southeast corner of the parking lot so away from road noise and only heard noise from casino customers around 10pm for about 1/2 an hour when a couple of people were chatting and laughing in the parking lot and a few cars drove passed. We were the only Rv parked in the lot so we were here alone after the casino closed except for a few employees cars. We felt safe all night. There is wifi available inside the casino but we did not find any in the parking lot, but we had 5 bars or 5G with AT&T

Security was very helpful.
They said to just part away from the doors on the ends of the parking. They said we could stay multiple nights as long as we let the office know, we only stayed one night so we didn’t need to talk to the office.

Good Navajo food selections at the cafe. The main restaurant is only open certain nights due to covid so we couldn’t try that since it was closed when we were there.

Only about 40 minutes from ship rock, so we were able to head out in the morning to catch the sunrise.

Road into the casino might be a little rough depending which way you come in. Our nav took us across the empty tribal land instead of into town of Farmington and to the casino.

We parked at 4:00 in the far corner in a class A. A security guy in a golf cart with blue lights went by us 3 or 4 times. We didn't go into the casino but we usually do. Their website says only residents can come in. At 11:30 pm a security guy was banging on my door and told me I had to leave. He was polite but come on. Run me out at 4:30. I'm not hard to see,. He gave me permission to stay until 7:00 am after talking to his boss. I'm 64 and don't like being told to get out of town after he admitted they used to let campers stay. If you're on campendium, PUT UP A SIGN!
