We arrived 9/13/21 to maybe 10 rigs already in place. This location could probably squeeze 20 so there was decent room around everyone. We have a 3 year old and there were a good amount of young families for him to make friends with. There are maybe 5 or so generator including mine, everyone had them off by 9pm if not earlier. Great location to run solar. We had ours set to 47 degrees up angle facing south and did pretty good for recharge.
This location is 11 minutes from Smiths Family Market and the rest of town. More major shopping like Home Depot, Lowe’s, Chick-Fil-A are in Kalispell about 35 minutes south.
Location is also right next to the main road. It is a 70 MPH zone so at night the passing vehicles can be a bit loud.
We have AT&T, our phones say 2 bars LTE, but that means nothing till after 9 or 10 pm the signal starts coming through. First thing in the AM we have 5G for 30 minutes to 1 hours 🤷🏼♂️ then nothing for the rest of the day.
All in all, we’d stay here again!

We had no problems during our three night stay. Was a bit worried after the earlier review. When we pulled in to look for a spot, two different campers came and gave advice about level spots that might work for us. We have a 35 foot 5th wheel and an OHV to park. Lots of generators, but quiet at night. We’d stay here again.

Were able to level pretty quickly. 20 mins to west entrance of glacier and within walking distance of river access (just across north forks). Heard some generators but those don’t bother us too much. Just 15 minutes into town. Only real negative was very little cell service - could connect if I held my phone out the window.

As far as noise - generators can be heard at all hours of the day. And I mean so hours - even at 3am. We even saw someone arrive at 10pm and then proceed to cut the grass around his spot with a weed wacker! Despite the noise, we would still camp here again.
You can fill water jugs with fresh spring water at mile 6 on north fork road (you'll see the water flowing out right on the side of the road) or for free at the Fish Creek Campground in the park. Also, right across the street is river access with parking, vault toilets, a boat launch, and a great sandy beach.

We stayed here a few nights while trying to secure a FCFS spot at Glacier. It's conveniently located to the park and a river to cool down in (since there is no shade here). Lots of spots and friendly neighbors. The only minor downsides are there is no shade and lots of bugs.

Reasonable generator use/no one running all night. It was a quiet and enjoyable week.
No T-Mobile, but decent Verizon and ATT

This was a nice spot for us near Glacier National Park. We got a great spot and it wasn't too crowded. Both Verizon & AT&T allowed us to work and stream TV. Our stay was just after the Labor Day weekend, so that might have contributed to the better signal.
Great place to view the night sky.
