RVers & Big Rigs this is not the North Fork Road dispersed camping area. Many review photos added to this location were not taken here. Just a word of caution.
This location has a few tent camping spots close to river and 2 (that we could see) back in gravel ‘driveways’ that rigs could fit. The first driveway you see on your right upon entering has a pretty deep rut that maybe lifted trailers and vans could make it over to get to the camping spot. The 2nd driveway you see on your left almost any rig could fit in. This was taken 5/5 days we checked. I would not drive my rig down this road as you would be unable to turnaround.
Beautiful spot to take your tow vehicle, park, and enjoy water and beach for the day! We parked our rig at North Fork Road dispersed camping site and walked the .2 miles here. You can launch your paddle boards, boats, rafts from here. Lay out, bring the dog, swim, etc. very busy on weekend in July. Weekdays it was easier to find parking in this small lot.

But still a parking lot. There’s two or three non-parking lot sites, best for tents, already taken. Big slightly angled gravel lot - probably could fit between six and ten rigs, and a smaller, even more sloped lot which held a number of passenger cars. Still, fine for a day or two. Easy enough to back into a spot with our 24’ TT and truck and didn’t have to unhitch. There’s a pit toilet, it was clean and stocked. The best part probably would be the sandy beach if you had dreams of hanging out at the beach. The river is beautiful and we saw folks coming and going with boats, kayaks, and fishing gear. Cell service with Verizon and ATT was awful. Probably get a phone call out, but texting and any data was sloooow and spotty at best. The good news would be sky access if you’re using Starlink or solar, if you’re in the big lot. Three day max. I’d stay here again if I was desperate I guess, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

We also had semi decent cell that was a little spotty but better than nothing!

This is a great river access site if you are looking to drop in a boat. While we didn't stay here we walked around hoping to find a good RV site. There is only 1 really great RV site to speak of and its on the road down to the parking lot. Otherwise this is really just for tent camping. However there is a parking lot which is large enough for around a 36ft RV to park in overnight in a pinch.

Stayed for a Friday night, place filled up by sundown. Camping in a minivan we were able to find a level enough for the night spot on the river by the boat launch. There are about 3 spots you could pull into with a trailer or long RV on the road leading into the site and small class B’s could fit in the parking lot or 2 other spaces however it’s better suited for tents. Beautiful spot. Enough AT&T coverage to send a few emails if you’re patient

We saw 2 primitive tenting sites (one to the right of the launch and one a bit to the left of the launch) and 2 sites for small RVs on a spur to the left and right before entering the launch area. A truck camper could camp in the parking area.
There was a vault toilet.
It was pretty dusty when we were there.
