Our camper is about 28’. It was very windy the days we were there. Luckily on the lagoon side you didn’t notice it as much. We had site #26. The Old Abe bike trail is there too. I hear it is nice. We went into town to the Brewery and then for some ice cream.
The southern campground has electric and can accommodate larger rigs. They seemed more level as well. We had a nice time and I would go back again.

Location is great to enjoy water and walking trails. The small town was very charming. These were so great it made up for all the inconveniences. I was lucky to book last spot for some weekend nights the day of/day before.
Bonus:
- I don't know if this is all WI State Parks, but dogs were not allowed in many areas including walking trails. If it had been hotter this would have really been an issue for us.
- Again, this might be all/many WI State Parks, but generators were not allowed. And no utilities. It would have made camping later in the season much more difficult for us.
Access:
For us the loop was ok. We saw some bigger TT and a few small 5th wheelers. I don't know how someone in a big boy would do it. Some low hanging branches. And it's a one-way loop, so if you miss your spot, around again.
Location:
Wonderful! Cool small town next to this beautiful island. Great walking trails and kayaking.
Cleanliness:
Didn't use bathrooms b/c we prefer our own. But there was plenty of garbage left in our firepit.
Site Quality:
Considered a pull thru for 50+ft but we could not get our TT and truck to maneuver the loop and stay in site. We backed the TT into the spot. Difficult to find a level area.
Noise:
Fellow campers were respectful, but you can hear folks having a good time and kids fishing. No problems, just not quiet. Everyone settled down at night.

The scenery is beautiful. Very easy hiking trails. Great biking. Kayaking. Fishing. The non-electric sites are gorgeous, wooded and on the water.
