Made reservation for 3 nights based on their posted information regarding site size. If you have a “big rig” do not attempt to stay at this park. Sites are plenty long, but VERY narrow and sloped. Every site has large overhanging trees at the front and back, making it extremely difficult to pull into or out of the site. We have a 40’ fifth wheel that we would have damaged trying to get into any of these sites. We went elsewhere.

Easy pull through very level sites, pretty close together, so if there were others here we’d be cozy. Two nice trees in a nice grassy spot between each site though. Picnic tables, a frisbee golf on site and a park and museum behind this campground. It’s right off a road that had quite a bit of traffic even late into the night. I’m a terrible sleeper, so that part wasn’t so great. NOTE that the bathrooms are closed for the season so it’s best to be self contained, in fact it says must be self contained, no tents at this time in the season. But there is a designated tent area available if in season. It was a good place to stop for a night. The road noise knocked it down a star for me as our teardrop doesn’t have noise barriers like i suspect a big rig does.

Spots are right next to each other at the far side of the park away from the river. Busy rural road with large trucks just beyond chain link fence. Fine if you aren’t a light sleeper. Other campers are either dead or very quiet - perfect! Manure smell seems to ubiquitous in this area so be prepared but not intolerable.
I had enough bandwidth for basic email most of the time with google fi. Had to use Verizon for heavier work and zoom calls. With my antenna the quality was great.

Wow what a great place to stop just off the road but not too far. Located at a wonderful park where everyone can get out and stretch your legs. Our dog loved running throughout the park! Fairly level spots and reliable hook ups. Highly recommend only giving 4 stars on noise as garbage service came at 4 am.

It's a great place for an overnight or two.
The park itself has lots of amenities and its right next to the Snake River with a boat ramp. Watch your kids as the river is very swift here.
There is some road noise from a small county road. Busy during the day, but quiet at night.

This campground was situated in a manicured, spotlessly clean park with friendly managers, just a couple of minutes off I-15. Reservations were made by phone, and site numbers assigned on a chart hanging on the entrance kiosk door.
There were two rows of level but narrow sites with trees alongside. My site was in the row close to the highway. It suffered from a great deal of highway noise during the day and evening, but was fairly quiet at night. The campground was not fully booked, so I could have moved away from the highway and changed my assignment on the chart, but I didn't feel like hitching up again. When you make a reservation, ask for the row away from the highway (sites 7-12).
There was a boat ramp on the Snake River at the other end of the park, but I didn't see any other river access. There was a paved walking/cycling path along the river starting 1/2 mile from the park, to the right on the road to Shelley.
I stayed here to visit the Idaho Potato Museum in Blackfoot, the Museum of Clean in Pocatello, Massacre Rocks and Register Rock beyond Pocatello, and to take a day trip over Teton Pass to Grand Teton National Park. That ended up being a 270 mile drive, but was well worth it. I planned to visit the Fort Hall replica, but the wind was too severe on the day I went to Pocatello.
Verizon 4G was 3 bars, -108 dB, 4-8 Mbps down and 0.5-5 up. Loves on I-15 just to the north had propane at a good price, and Broadway Wash N Dry in Idaho Falls was clean, quiet and cheap for doing the laundry.

We were the only tent campers here. Set up in the grass under a tree. Great little spot that probably never fills up for tents. On the sheet at the office it looked like the RV sites were all booked.

lots of road noise. Sites are tight for large rigs, but doable as long as no one is sticking out too far. the sites have some nice small trees for shade. Verizon worked great with 3-4bars. Sites one and the one across from it (7 or 12)are easiest to get in and out of, of course.

This place is very well maintained and has nice pull through sites with full hookups. A couple of trees for shade and a nice picnic table, awesome bathroom and shower facilities that are maintained and clean. Very reasonable price. It’s by the road but it is still quiet and comfortable.
