We were Westbound to Houston and there was a major pile up on I-10. After sitting for an hour and reading the updates we decided to call it for the day. My Navigator found an RV park. We headed for the park and ended up passing Nibletts Bluff Rv Park for another park close by. After doing a drive by, we decided to return to Nibletts Bluff Park. We have chosen “wisely”. Large, Clean, Flat parking pads. Ample room to spread out. If you want to be right on the water with a private pavilion with bbq grill, picnic table and outside sink, spots 1-4 are for you. Great view of the Sabina River and sunset over the trees. Friendly staff and well maintained concrete parking pads, bath house and FHU for $36! A short drive to Vinton to the Market Basket for all the essentials. Great stay, highly recommend. Lots of old south history and southern charm!

They have put in all concrete paved pads at each site. New, clean electric and water posts.
The other reviews are spot on, except for the sulphur smell. The wind may have been just right to carry the smell from the Sulphur, LA and Orange, TX refineries.
There are a few pull thru sites for large rigs, but most of the sites are back in, around 40' total.
Convenience store and gas station is about 4 miles away. Call ahead if arriving after 5pm.

If you're driving all day East bound from Texas and you would like a FHU, not to far off I-10 stay here. If you're driving all day East bound from Texas and you would like a FHU, not to far off I-10 stay here. It's about 3 miles through local neighborhoods going back into history but, once you get here it's a nice place. They just finished up grading the showers, very clean big and you can still smell the fresh paint. And speaking of smells, there a overwhelming smell of Sulphur. It disappears after the morning fog but believe me, it's almost nauseating. Anyway campgrounds are clean, waters right behind us and yes we saw 2 alligators float by. If you're into history, this is the place..

Nice sites. Fairly level. Full hookups. Quiet during the week. Busy on weekends. But kept very near. Lots of birds. Several playgrounds for kids. Staff very friendly.

We used this park as an overnighter while traveling from TX into LA. It's close enough to the highway that it wasn't a big investment of time to get there but so far away that you don't get a whisper of road noise. Sites are a bit of a mixed bag, some like the one we have had a ton of space, many were grouped tightly in a large shared grassy area. There is access to the river with both a boat ramp and docks. It was super quiet. Verizon signal was marginal but was 4G and decently fast with a booster, good enough that we probably would be OK working here, not so much that we would count on streaming.
