I pulled into Nashville at 1pm, with only one night on my schedule to visit EVERYTHING. My default when I'm in a time crunch is always KOA, knowing there will be a shower, lame wifi, and an office with someone behind a desk who can tell me, fast, how to see what I came to see in the area. If you've got limited time to enjoy Nashville, this is an option if you aren't planning to hang around enjoying the scenery at the campground.
The KOA is part of small cluster of camping opportunities a long way from downtown where the action is; about 15-ish miles away (though the KOA is located very near the new site of the Grand Ole Opry House). The concierge at her tourist desk in the lobby will hook you up with tour packages and/or "Jerry's" downtown shuttle service that picks you up from the KOA and drops you off behind famous Ryman Auditorium (only $10, round trip). From there, walk to the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Johnny Cash museum, the Goo Goo shop, and all the honkytonks playing live music in The District. Stagger back to the Ryman to catch the shuttle home to your campsite.
I ditched the dog in the Airstream and didn't come back to the KOA until 1am (the shuttle runs until 2:30am on Saturday). I didn't even unhitch, and left the next morning by 7am. Sorry no photos! It was a nice KOA.

The campground is huge, and when we were here was about half full. We were assigned next to the outer fence of the park and didn't get the wifi signal. It was fairly quiet.
The bathrooms were clean and spacious. The showers offered hot water.
We were here to explore Nashville. The KOA offers a drop-off/pick-up shuttle service to downtown Nashville for $5/person one way. We found this to be a very helpful service and used this shuttle for the three days that we were here.
NOTE: The $36.38 was for electricity service and included our KOA discount.

First caveat is that we stayed here in early Feb and it was cooooold. Like snowing and in the 20's. While the location looks good on a map, it takes about 20 minutes to get anywhere. Anyway, pretty standard KOA. Even on the big side with on side mostly "premium pull throughs" with cement pads and patio furniture and the other gravel back ins. The central building was nice with laundry and a pool table and they were building what will probably be a sweet pool by next summer.
If you can't get into the Seven Points CG, it'll get the job done.

I chose this campground because it is very centrally located and I thought it would allow us to see some of Nashville for the very short time we were there. It is easy to get to many of Nashville's most famous spots and it was pretty easy to find from the highway.
This is a very packed in KOA. It has lots of amenities like a life-sized chess set. I can see how families would enjoy all of the extra things to keep children occupied. Navigating the park in a large rig is a challenge. You need to really pay attention to the roads they recommend using in and out of the park. We were very close to our neighbor and had no privacy.
The staff was all people under 18 and although polite, I can't say they were very nice. If you want to ask for any RV specific information, they were unable to answer. I found that a bit disappointing.
PROS:
Central location in Nashville
Full hookups
CONS:
Expensive
Very packed in
Hard to navigate in a big rig
Not a very helpful or well informed staff
Highway noise
