Centrally located but a little walk to downtown Napa. Hookups include 30 and 50 amp with water and sewer. Nice cemented pads. Easy place to stay work the weekend and explore downtown Napa.

The park is centrally located with easy access to a lot of different activities. It is clean and well maintained. On the last day of our stay we left for a few hours and when we came back our bikes had been stolen off the rack on the back of our rig. The cable was cut and our new Specialized Rock Hopper’s we’re gone. We notified management who stated that he saw two guys walking around with a duffle bag that looked out of place and that maybe he should have asked them what they were doing. That probably would have been a good idea. Hard lesson for us to learn so just be aware so that you can put your bikes inside your rigs when you leave for the day.

As people who typically camp in public parks we had some sticker shock at the price to stay at the Napa fairgrounds, but overall felt it was a fair price for the location and amenities. The park is superbly maintained, with spotless concrete pads, small grassy areas between sites, and new-looking picnic tables. Most sites are pull-throughs and very long. We had 20+ feet to spare in our pull-through site. The bathrooms were also spotless, and shower water temps were nice and hot. There is no real privacy between the sites, but no one is coming to Napa to hang out in the campground.
The real reason to stay at this park is the excellent location. It is within easy walking distance of downtown Napa and the Oxbow Public Market, and being in the town of Napa puts the Napa Valley wineries within very easy driving distance. The town of Napa has plenty of shopping (Wal-Mart, numerous grocery stores, all the chain big boxes, etc.) and a gas station on every corner. Overall, we found Napa to be very pricey (even as compared to nearby Sonoma Valley) but we would probably stay at this park on a future visit to the area even if we chose not to visit the costly Napa wineries. Our price reflects a Good Sam discount of 10% ($60 - $6).
As noted by a prior reviewer, access to the park is from Silverado and only from the southbound lane. It's sort of a blind turn so pay attention when arriving. The signs directing campers to the camphost are small and obscure, especially in low light, so be aware that new arrivals need to drive all the way to the end of the campground and around the back of the office/shower/laundry building to get to the registration area.
Internet service in town on AT&T was blazing fast.

You can't beat the location! It's an easy walk to downtown Napa or the Oxbow Market from the Expo. Most of the sites are pull through and large. The ones along the fence are a little smaller/tighter but overall all the sites are well spaced between each other. Full hook ups, laundry, trash, wifi.

We usually like to stay at state parks and campgrounds where we have some privacy between sites, but this is more of a typical RV park with no privacy between sites. It was pretty much the only option though for visiting the Napa area. The location was great! Walking distance to Oxbow Market, close to the Napa wineries and not far from Sonoma. Close to Six Flags in Vallejo and Jelly Belly Factory in Fairfield. Verizon and AT&T worked very well.

We are currently selling our home in Oakland and stay at various RV Parks around the San Francisco Bay Area until the sale is closed. After spending two weeks in Olema near the Point Reyes National Seashore we spent the last two weeks in the Expo RV Park in Napa. The park offers great access to the wine regions of Napa and Sonoma and is only 20 miles from the shores of Lake Berryessa. However, at this time of the year (July) the temperature in the region can be high. A good air-conditioner is a must.
- The Expo RV Park is groomed with decent amounts of grass spaces between concrete sites.
- There is no shadows at any of the sites.
- The park rules are restrictive and not very pet friendly.
- The park offers at times a useable wifi service.
- Site #20 is a corner property. As such it has no curb site neighbor and a 6 ft fence provides some privacy.
- The two camp hosts on site are friendly and helpful guys.

In general we liked the Napa Expo RV Park a lot, we even extended our stay after arriving. The sites have a decent amount of space between them and our back-in site had a lot of grassy space behind it which was great for our dogs. Everyone we interacted with was helpful. The $50 rate ($45 with Good Sam) is "all-in", i.e. there's no sales tax, room tax, tourism tax, or similar, which makes this a pretty good deal. Many of the other campgrounds we've stayed at recently in the San Francisco area had taxes as high as 12% on top of the campground fee. Our only complaint is the road noise from Silverado Trail, especially from the back-in sites which are closest to the road. Often the road noise is barely noticeable, but frequently throughout the day people seem to drive very loud motorcycles and extremely loud "classic" sports cars up and down the road which became very annoying quickly. The entrance to the campground is designed to only allow entry when you're driving south on Silverado Trail. Since we were coming from San Francisco, we were headed north and had to enter through the exit lane. Similarly, when leaving the campground, you can only head South on Silverado. We'd stay here again. We visited in April 2015.

When we checked in there was a little issue because I didn't have Good Sam card, but I have a current membership, a membership number and a pdf email from Good Sam saying that we're members. This park really wants you to have a physical card. Once that was cleared up we had a great stay! If you are here for the wine the location of this park allows for easy access to Napa and Sonoma.
