First time camping here. Camped over the weekend June 26th to 29th. At first we couldn't find the turn off for the campsite road there wasn't a sign saying Murdock Basin when you're coming from the West heading Northeast. We past it first thinking that wasn't it. When we U-turned up by the lakes and came back down Highway 150 there was a sign saying Murdock Basin. Basically near mile marker 21 or 22 is where the road is to get to the campsites.
Took our 35' trailer and our trailer with our Polaris RZR. A bit of a struggle getting up there because the road is a little narrow at the beginning. We were able to pull off the side at a curved part of the road to take our RZR to scout for open camp spots, because it would've been difficult to turn around.
Once we found a good spot we set up pretty easily. Such a popular place, we were lucky to get a nice spot. Kept seeing a few people coming and going. Lots of tent campers and quite a few trailers. Seen a few ATV's, side by sides and dirt bikes so there was plenty of different trails to explore
Only a couple of small down sides was we were close to a creek, mosquito galore. Me personally mosquitoes love me. Also some of the trails were super rocky, bumpy ride most of the time but the views were spectacular.
If you haven't camped here I suggest try to come early if its a weekend so you can get a good camp spot. We wouldn't mind camping here again because it was fun as a family and our dogs loved it there. Complete isolation from the real world. No Cell service which we were fine with.
Krise S. would stay here again

Great!! Good fishing, boating & hiking. Very quiet, mostly families when we were there.
