I didn't stay at this campground but I did cruise through it. The sites are well spaced and in the trees. Access to hiking trails and the beautiful reservoir are very close by.

The road from Augusta, MT is paved, then gravel, then paved. The gravel part is in great shape until you get a bit past Willow Creek Reservoir. Then it gets a few potholes that are going to slow you down if you're pulling a trailer. The last paved section, close to the campground, is a bit steep. The drive up to the campground from the flats is spectacular!

Fishing was great! I had to hike about two miles up the trail on the north side of the reservoir to find a spot to fish from. The shoreline is very steep.

Dispersed camping is available below the dam, just off the road.
