Large roomy sites with privacy, Not on top of each other. Potable water and dumpster and vault toilets. No dump station but two nearby gas stations have them Easy commute to Soldotna and Talon Air only 9 miles away. Still first come first serve and just added CC payment station. According to hosts, other than when salmon are running the campground is mostly empty. Just a few miles off the sterling hwy. they also have overflow parking if u show up during fishing week. If you want to fish for salmon on Kenai river, great spot just walk from your campsite to river. We were there during fish week and it was packed but still somewhat peaceful, due to large spaced out campsites. Plenty of pull thrus in the middle for the largest rigs.

This would be a great place if you want to fish. Their fishing docks are plentiful and easily accessed. If you want hiking trails, there aren't many. The first night we were the only campers. It is nice and quiet, but frustrating that there weren't any dumpsters for trash. There is potable water, but no dump.

We loved this campground. I was sorry they have a 7 day stay limit. They have potable water but no dump. Big John's Chevron down the road has a free dump.

One large loop with the outer being back ins and the inner being pull throughs. Good level, gravel sites with table and fire pit. Halfway between Soldotna and Sterling, about 3 miles off the highway; very quiet.
