Joe & his staff are truly the BEST!! Obviously the location is great. But their park has big, beautiful trees, open fields, communal areas, spacious & level sites. The food (grab and go breakfast, pastries and coffee… my husband said they’re the best biscuits ever) are FANTASTIC. We only stayed 2 nights (got in very late the first night) but all the staff knew us and we quickly became friends with multiple guests. This park is fantastic and the people who find it are top notch! Joe takes great pride in his park, and it shows. Cannot recommend this park enough!!
People may worry with its closeness to the highway. We were spot 9 (close to the road) and heard little to no street noise.
Also, if you’re a runner / cyclist, great spots to run with minimal street traffic [also a path next to the highway that is level and paved but loud]

Lovely campground and cafe. Smaller campground with 60-70 sites but well maintained and lovely wooded spots. Staff went above and beyond to help us with a problem we had with our van to get us back on the road. 😊

We stayed mid-June 2023. Friendly staff, great dog park, nice breakfast in the cafe, community fire pit, and laundry. Did not use bathhouse. Very convenient to the West Glacier entrance. Easy drive back to Columbia Falls for dinner (plus live music at Gunsight Saloon). We chose our site thinking further from the main road would be less road noise. Not sure it made much difference on the noise as it mostly died down in the evening. Some of the sites on the rows closer to the road had more space between the sites. Our site was up a hill, but the site itself where we pulled in was quite level for our long wheel base 39’ RV. Laundry was regular sized washer but they have 2 of the large dryers. I was pleasantly surprised to find my loads dry after only 20 minutes. Don’t recall exact cell service but was frustrated with it.

Just a short 5 minute drive to West Glacier. Didn’t spend much time in the campground but it’s a quiet campground with water & electric. Some full hookup site’s available also. Staff was friendly.

The park is located off the highway so noise is an issue, along with train noise. We had a very narrow spot 33 that had very limited room for chairs. The people are very nice with a number of amenities. Ot so closevto the park entrance that it was perfect

Very easy access to Glacier west entrance. Clean campground under the trees. We had full hook up and didn’t have to share power as some other reviews state. Sites do vary. Some have a nice space between sites and others are very tight. Bathroom requires code and looks nice from the outside but rather old on the inside…strange. Not fires allowed at your site but you can rent a fire pit. We did not. Pleasant staff. We didn’t treat the food. It’s just hard to spend so much on a site and then pay for simple baked goods that you can easily bake yourself.
Trains and cars all night…
WIFI available but max 1-2mb per second upload and download speeds. Well below 1mb in the evening.
Verizon cell service I guess is as expected mid-summer at the entry to Glacier. Super slow throughout the day and terrible in the evening. Good luck 🍀. I was surprised with download speed of 100mb at 4am (don’t ask me why) with upload of no more than 1-2mb per second. In the evening, if you get anything, it is around 1 mb upload and download.

We traveled with two other families pulling campers the week of July 4th. Location was great because it’s nearby Glacier NP and other local attractions and nearby towns. We reserved the group site 30A/B about a year in advance. We love these group sites because it’s allows us to be close to family but still private. The roads in the campground are well paved. Lots of signage everywhere so you’re never lost. The small cafe had good selection of food and drinks. There was a small store too that had a good amount of supplies for us. Wood burning fire pits are not allowed but they do have a propane fire pit you can rent for around $25 per night or if you use your own propane, then it’s around $7.50 a night. The hosts delivers it and picks it up for you. Otherwise, there is a nightly community wood fire pit by the gazebo with swinging bench seats.
WiFi is available but spotty depending on the amount of people using it. Our group site felt very private for us.
Laundry and shower facilities were very good and spacious.
We would come back and spend more time here. It had all the necessities for a small family.

“Cancellation Because Of RV Breakdown Beware!”
noted 10/24/2023
I had reservations made in July for end of August. We had stayed at Moose Creek a couple years ago. Was surprised at price over doubled from then. They asked for $250 down and pay rest when we arrived. I thought camping prices had really escalated but paid the deposit. This trip was a month long trip to west coast for a wedding
On Friday evening driving towards Billings Mt. the RV started smoking on I 90 We had to tow it into Billings. There was no one to work on it until Monday. I immediately called and canceled our reservation for Saturday night. Knowing how busy the campgrounds are there shouldn’t be a problem filling our spot.
We had 3 nights at Moose Creek. I also had to cancel two other spots ahead on our schedule heading west.
Moose Creek refused to return any of my money. I only expected part. I contacted them 3 times by email (that is their request).
I just want to warn people be aware of how much you deposit. My other reservations returned most of my money but nothing from Moose Creek.
