The price above reflects both a seniors discount and HST. There are no services whatsoever at the campground - a shower would have made this 5 stars. Outhouses were very clean and plentiful as were the water taps. Generator hours were pretty liberal - 11-9 with a 2 hour limit.
Our site was nice - level (a lot seemed to be sloped) and a mix of sun and shade - we didn’t get as much solar as we had hoped but it was hot while we were there so it helped with the inside temperature. On a return trip, we would try for site 23 - it was large, level and had lake access. The campgrounds by the lake - especially the tent ones were gorgeous.
The campground is a mix of seasonal and transient campers. The vibe is definitely friendly - there was a lot of socially distanced discussions at the sandy beach.
Nice mix of hikes, canoeing is good and there is a logging road not far away that provided good biking. Elliott Lake is about a 1/2 hr drive if you need any supplies.
The dump station was easy to access but we had to disconnect the TOAD to make the Uturn to get out.
We had no cell service at the camp site but would usually get a couple bars at the beach.
Kandt would stay here again

All good at this Provincial Park! The park signage was good to navigate our 5th wheel trailer to our site. There was no bars of Bell cell coverage and no WiFi.
Beautiful and quite beach.
