The views are amazing and there isn’t really a bad spot in the entire campground. Spot 16 was perfect for views of the sunset, but can get warm around dinner time. The views are amazing and there isn’t really a bad spot in the entire campground. Spot 16 was perfect for views of the sunset, but can get warm around dinner time. We had easy access to the lake for fishing or swimming. Our neighbors at spot 18 had a little hard time getting their camper in the spot due to the trees. Most of the other spots seems easy to get into for any size rig. It’s only a mile off the highway, but make sure your brakes are good, as it’s a pretty steep decline and a hairpin turn at the bottom right before the campground entrance. It was clean, but we could hear sirens occasionally in the distance, but still quiet. Little bit of boat traffic noise throughout the day.
It’s pretty hard to get into, but set up cancellation notifications and spots do open up. Looking forward to our next stay here.

We loved this spot. Our site (54) was right on the water and it was so lovely. The person at the check in booth was incredibly helpful. The campground was clean and right on the lake.

We arrived after check-in but called ahead and they told us to go to our site and check-in in the morning. The park is ABSOLUTELY beautiful and surrounded by water. We arrived after check-in but called ahead and they told us to go to our site and check-in in the morning. The park is ABSOLUTELY beautiful and surrounded by water. We stayed at site 9 there was an issue with part of the electricity not working so we could only run half our stuff, the kind man at the gate said he would put an order in. Our 5y/o enjoyed the park and the lake! The swimming area at the lake is very rocky so make sure to bring water shoes. The park is well maintained! I do have to say the drive down in the passenger seat was a little scary to me.

Great campground. Tough to get reservations. Great price, right by the lake, clean campground and bath house. Would have been nice to have a cool shower verses fixed temp. Bath house needs a vent - very warm.
We loved our lake access and well kept site. Nice staff interactions.

We stayed here almost by accident because the weather worked out and there was space available. We were pleasantly surprised with another well laid out and we'll maintained COE campground. We booked a site last minute over Easter weekend, and were very impressed with the campground. Sites are level, spread out and it was quiet. We enjoyed a lovely view of the lake. It was quite hot while we were there but the breeze helped cool us down. The restrooms and showers were clean. Just a great place to stay.
