Lots of trucks, we couldn’t park in the “truck and trailers” part and ended up parking longways by the sidewalk.. very clean, bathrooms are okay. Plenty of area for dogs to run around. Is noisy from trucks coming in and out. Super easy to pull in and stop for the night
Also has a water spicket for filling your tank!

October 2023- I'd stop here again. Lots of trucks coming and going so watch out when crossing the street. I did see a crossing guard during the daytime hours. Plenty of clean bathrooms and shaded picnic tables. Felt safe. Dumpsters for dry camping trash at the southern end of the parking lot. Lots of road noise and semi-truck noise. I'... more
October 2023- I'd stop here again. Lots of trucks coming and going so watch out when crossing the street. I did see a crossing guard during the daytime hours. Plenty of clean bathrooms and shaded picnic tables. Felt safe. Dumpsters for dry camping trash at the southern end of the parking lot. Lots of road noise and semi-truck noise. I'd sleep here in an emergency. It was majorly windy on my travel day from Page, AZ so I stopped here to look for the free camping on Beaver Head Flat nearby Oak Creek because I was worn out from the wind and the single road construction zone that was south of Flagstaff. McGuireville Southbound is in between exits to get to Oak Creek/Sedona or Montezuma Castle/Cornville/Cottonwood... In case you need to re-fuel Love's Travel Stop in nearby Cordes Lakes has better gas prices in the area, excellent pumps for RVs, a dog park, and I heard that they have a dump station.

Thanks to spyonmeandmyrv I have some water tonight! I was having trouble finding water in the Flagstaff/Sedona area. This rest stop has a spigot close to the parking area. I couldn’t figure a way to make it possible for a hose but filled up my gallon containers and put a few into my van’s tank manually. If I don’t find a possibility fo... more
Thanks to spyonmeandmyrv I have some water tonight! I was having trouble finding water in the Flagstaff/Sedona area. This rest stop has a spigot close to the parking area. I couldn’t figure a way to make it possible for a hose but filled up my gallon containers and put a few into my van’s tank manually. If I don’t find a possibility for water fill up with a hose connection, I’ll be back here. Also same thing available going the other way though I just drove through that direction and not sure what type of connect it is. Anyway, in both cases it’s just past the main pathway into the bathrooms. Bathrooms are decent. Decided not to stay there though it was late because of overbearing trucks running noise.
