“A LOT of cliches. Beautiful campgrounds, though.”

Harry was incredible. Best campground manager.
A lot of the campers are very standoffish. A LOT of cliches. Felt like I was back in high school.
Campground was beautiful. Harry takes great pride in keeping McCanns beautiful.
Harry never stops working.
Roscoe1962 would stay here again

“Small, Quiet, Well-Maintained and Close to Village”

We stayed here for 2 months (May and June). The campground is small, and spots are rather tight with not much privacy. Which is our only negative about this campground. It should be noted that there are no amenities such as pool, playground, or laundry. They do provide a frie ring for each site. The campground has some tent sites as well. When we stayed, many people were setup to stay for the whole Summer season. Spots book quickly, and well in advance. Our favorite part was being just a mile from the waterfront village of Greenport and convenient to the rest of the "North Fork" of Long Island, which is the best part about this campground. There are many great restaurants and shops in the charming village and lots of beautiful vineyards and farms to be enjoyed in the surrounding area. There is also a county park trail (Inlet Pond) that is within walking distance from the campground. It's a beautiful walk and takes you out to the LI Sound. A town beach is located just a 5 minutes drive away.
Excellent Verizon coverage and great wi-fi for a campground.
The campground Manager, Harry, is friendly, helpful, and responds immediately with any issues.
We'll be returning again in September. :)
