Sites on the river are very nice. Lots of electric sites for tents and RVs, multiple places to refill potable water. Dump station and showers included at Marina. Good cell service too

We had a good time out here. Labor Day weekend, it was full but not noisy. Sites are pretty large, nice walking/fitness trail that takes you into the small town of Grand Rapids.
Only complaint is the shower house is about a half mile away at the marina. They have porta potties at the campground.
We'd definitely return.

Overall a good experience. A little bit pricier than what we would have wanted to pay, but at least there are some nice views. You have to pay the same amount for a site regardless of whether or not you use the electric hook up which is kind of lame. The morning after our stay, I went and used the showers (free) at the marina down the road. Great and clean showers so that was a huge plus. Pretty quiet, self check in and check out. Not many options in the area so would probably stay here again if passing through.

We stayed here for a short weekend getaway. These are very nice paved sites that either have views of the river or a more woodsy feel depending on which sites you are in. The more woodsy sites looked to be much larger than the sites near the river where we stayed. The sites are not huge but they are big enough to enjoy the views of the water. There definitely is not a whole lot of privacy if that is what you are looking for. The little town of Grand Rapids is just a short walk along the river and there are a bunch of little shops and restaurants to visit and a very good ice cream place. Overall it was a very clean and quiet stay, we will definitely be staying here again.

This park is probably best for camping couples, older folks, and people who are there to fish or boat. They do have a small playground. The sunset was amazing. I didn't take any pictures that don't have my kids in them, so I don't want to share here. This was a shake down trip for us close to home in a new rig. The worst thing was the cell coverage with T-Mobile was zero bars on an iPhone 7 Plus. The best thing was the view of the Maumee.
I think its 33.00 if you book online and 25.00 if you walk up. You are very close distance to downtown Grand Rapids, which has some quaint shops, restaurants, ice cream stand etc... You can walk it or easy drive.

The park has a lot of things going for it. It's quiet although near a road, some sites have partial shade. The grounds are clean and well maintained. Sites are paved and spaced to give modest privacy. It is by the river, and within walking distance of a cute town with shopping, bars and restaurants. Just across the river is a nice walking/biking path, and it's also close enough (20-30 min) from essentials in the suburbs and Toledo. Downsides are 30 amp only and a questionable power grid. When the park is full on weekends, the park grid barely keeps up. Most sites have no water or sewer. The sanitary station is at the marina down the road, as are showers and flush toilets. The camp itself has pit toilets and some dingy restrooms in the basement of a day use building adjacent to the campground.
The park may also flood in heavy or consistent seasonal rains, so be aware if you choose a site on the river.
I enjoyed staying here for two weeks while working in Toledo, but would use the park with caution in the future.

The small town of Grand Rapids nearby was fantastic. It has a really nice park along the river that was connected to the campground via a short trail. We enjoyed our evenings by riding over to town for a meal, shopping, and an ice cream.
There is apparently really good fishing at the dam in the river near town. We saw a lot of fishermen pulling out some good catches.
