Not much to add to the previous reviews. We arrived on a Friday at 2:00 and there were only 2 sites left, so plan accordingly if you want to stay here. There are 2 handicapped sites and if they are not occupied by 7:00, anyone can camp there. There are also 3 walk-in sites. The campground was full by 5:00, mostly locals. Free wood! ... more

There is a bridge over to the day use area, but when we were there the day use was closed and looked like they were still working on improvements. We noticed that there are several tent only sites on the day use side that are not on the main map currently posted. We jumped over the barrier and walked out on the sandy beach, very different from the campground beach was very rocky.
We paid $18 online (or buy at a vendor) otherwise it will cost you $20 on site.
You will hear some road noise.

We only stayed one night passing through, in late May the campground had just opened and not crowded at all. We will definitely stay at Marsh Lake Campground again when traveling to Alaska.

It would have been kind of okay, if there was privacy between sites, but there wasn’t a lot separating us. Also, there was no beach access. The bridge that connects the campground to the beach was no longer there. Otherwise, it seemed like a clean campground. Perhaps if we were there during the week the campground wouldn’t have been so loud.

On our way up into the Yukon we stayed along several lakes, many of which are heavily forested, provide little lake access, and are swarming with mosquitos. If I didn't have to move on I'd want to stay a few nights.
There's a bit of noise from the highway which runs not too far from the lake, but it's not that noticeable.

We chatted with the rangers and they told us there was plenty of space at Marsh Lake, so we headed there instead. I'm glad we did. Wolf Creek didn't look bad, but the sites were smaller, the roads were narrower, and it was busier than Marsh Creek. For me, it's worth the extra 20 min drive to stay in a better spot.
Marsh Lake has 50+ sites, and mid week in early June, it was pretty empty. Friday night, though, the campground was completely full. If you're arriving Friday or Saturday, I highly recommend getting there early. It seemed like a popular spot for locals. It's probably even more popular as the weather gets warm enough for swimming.
Only a couple sites had water views, and those were already occupied. We grabbed a large, level pull-thru (site 21) near the middle of the campground instead. The only downside was that it was very shaded, and our solar didn't do much during our stay. Generators are allowed outside of quiet time (11 pm - 7 am), and we had to use ours.
If you have solar, I suggest trying to grab site 50 or 51. They seemed to have the best view of the sky of any of the sites in the campground.
We had good signal on Verizon and Google Fi.

The sites were nice, and lots of different choices of type of area you want to be in. We showed up on Labor day weekend, not realizing that Canada also celebrated "Labour" day, and found one of 3 sites that were left all of which were away from the action which worked good for us.

Marsh Lake campground is a nice campground along the Alaska Highway and by the beautiful Marsh Lake. When it's nice and warm in Whitehorse, that's the place to be! It's the longest and biggest beach in the whole territory. The campground has some sites along the water and some others have accesses to hidden rocky beaches (which we love!). We have had a bonfire on our "private beach" one night (free wood provided in covered wood shelters).
