The best way to summarize my stay in two words is "Tim & Melissa", the camp hosts. Not only did they welcome me from the get-go, but kept exceeding my expectations each and every day. They are a busy pair however, the one regret I had is neither was able to fit in time for horseshoes, which I brought. A good reason to return. Thx you two! Impeccable service!
Steve would stay here again

This was a nice national forest campground with private sites, vault toilets, fire wood for sale, and river access. Maneuvering the campground dirt road with our 31ft travel trailer was tight but doable. There are no water or electric hookups, no dump station, and no potable water so it’s pretty much paying to boondock. Knowing this, we probably wouldn’t stay here again since we would rather have boondocked for free. It was also SUPER buggy.
The drive to the Ross Lake National Recreation Area in North Cascades National Park was longer than we expected. It was about 30 minutes to enter the park plus another 20-30 minutes to get to the lakes where most of the hikes and things to do are. But there are a few hike trailheads that are close to the Marble Creek campground.
We had no Verizon or GoogleFi service at all at the campground. But there is service in Marblemount, about a 20 minute drive.

Great little campground; not recommended for big rigs. Short drive (1/2 mile or less) down a narrow dirt road to the campground which sits along the river. Some sites back onto the river, ours did not, but site 7 proved perfect for us: Privacy galore. Road through camp needs work, glad we only had a 19' trailer, mostly tent campers. No water, vault toilets, no service, but the best host we have ever come across in Steve--he will be there next year too. Everything you want a host to be and not one bit more. Just like the campground.
Access to great hiking, some are with dogs allowed -- Steve is a great resource for hiking options.
Private Camping would stay here again
