Overall Rating
We had to abort our stay at Old Rt 66 Rv Park because the electricity was wonky. I tried 5 pedestals and they were all bed. Just up the road was this campground. Only 3 years old, and it's great. Larger than average, close to perfectly level sites, new everything, helpful and friendly staff, 80+ ft long pull through sites, not too much lighting at night, and nice tables. I highly recommend this place. Not cheap, but they do offer military and Fire/Rescue discount. For good working equipment, it's worth every penny.
Now, on noise: There are no parks along this part of US 44 that are not on the access roads. Therefore, highway noise is present for all of them. Period; inescapable. I can't blame this place for that.

Overall Rating
I enjoyed my stay here while working in St. Louis this place fills up on the weekends but it’s all yours during the week, FYI. It doesn’t say this in the regulations- you must buy the provided logs for campfire. I did not . Was an issue, other than that I would return if I was traveling through Missouri.
