Overall Rating
This quiet county park was great for relaxing during the week. It has electric and water at large sites in wooded area and dump station by the log cabin type restroom and shower building with free hot showers. There is a beach and playground. As an added feature, there is also an amphitheater for hosting live music. There’s a trail that is part of North Country National Scenic Trail system as well as a beautiful self guided nature trail.
I gave it a 4 star rating only because of the frequent train noises- not too bad but might be bothersome for some people.
By the way, the electric has been upgraded to 20, 30, and 50 amp
