“No Amenities - Decommissioned Campground at the top of the Mountain”

Overall Rating

There has been no upkeep on this campground for some time other than grass cutting around the three upper sites. Best time to visit is on week nights when there is usually no one else around. Water is available from a spring a quarter mile west on the mountain road. Look on the right for a black plastic pipe. Holston Mountain Trail system is accessible from the campground via the Low Gap Trail and the Holston Mountain West Trail. Road to campground is typically closed from Dec. 20/21 to March 20/21.
