Lost Trail Motel & RV Resort

Spacious sites right on the Portneuf River! Across the river is a grain field. We stayed mid week and there were only a handful of other campers enjoying this beautiful spot. We had driven through the Lava Campground up the road before deciding to turn back and give this place a try. So glad we did. Peaceful and felt private. Breeze kept the bugs away during the day.

Be prepared for road noise and the train blaring its horn a couple times throughout the night. It would have been fine for us, but our infant wasn’t a big fan. I would stay here a hundred times again even with the noise, as long as you know to expect it its not that bad.

This is a nice little roadside motel with rv park. We're here at the tail end of some updates, looks like new infrastructure (electric/water/sewer), grass laid, new tables, etc. They've put in nice roadways and gravel pads that are not visible on google sat. The FHU sites are all close to the road, and beyond that the rail tracks. If the noise doesn't bother you, it's a nice spot with river access. It seems there is not an engine break rule for the semis here. All the river sites are electric+water.

FHU Sites 6-8 are a bit tight to get into with a 28' trailer, probably better suited to shorter units.

Measured 15mb up and down on Verizon, similar with AT&T (no booster).
