Is it best to enter from the north entrance? Looks like there is a north & south entrance to the Loop. Pulling a 25 TT w/GMC 2500HD, 2WD.

Use the North entrance. The south goes through a neighborhood with speed bumps. It also says local traffic only. We went that way not realizing there was another entrance that is actually closer the that GC South Gate entrance.

Definitely! When I was there the south entrance was full of potholes and at some point even baracaded. The North entrance is much better and where most of the sites are located.
