The daily trash pick up from your site was great, and the showers were nice. Only two showers per side, but I never had to wait. My husband said one of the men’s showers didn’t drain well. Shower stalls are very private with locking doors.
It wasn’t warm enough to use the pool, and the play structure is a wooden and very dated small thing. But it was enough for my boys. It was very quiet. Sites are very close together, no privacy, but we spent most of our time going out to the beaches. As a place to stay the night when you don’t plan your beach trip far in advance, it worked just fine.
Wifi was pretty much useless, and cell signal was just ok. Work could get done, but it was pretty slow during busy times.

I was slightly hesitant driving down the road to Live Oak Landing, the neighborhood is slightly run down with some nice homes mixed in. At end of road is Live Oak Landing, a small, nice campground. The employees at check in went above and beyond to manipulate so I wouldn't have to change sites each nite as I arrived during spring break and the park was full to capacity. Concrete pads, with full hook ups, (the sewer was too far from my camper so had to wait to pull forward to dump). The pool area was small, and from overhearing conversation b/t employees chlorine not "right" so I didn't use pool, Nice trees provided shade, very quiet come nite time which was pleasant. Small trailer type cabins intermixed in the sites, lots of "regulars" camping. Close to the beach and plenty of state parks to visit. Washer and dryers were interestingly "outside" in a covered area and "worn". Didn't use them so unsure their efficiency. Internet was sketchy if at all and same with cell phone service, calls were continually being dropped. Rate was with military discount.

If you like to fish, this is a great location. Fish saltwater or freshwater from here. Facilities were well kept and they were always working on them and improving. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Internet was reasonably good except in the evening when everyone jammed it up.
Verizon was fair with 2 bars most of time. I would definitely come back again for wintering over.

We have no complaints about our stay here, but nothing remarkable to say either. The sites were close together, but the trees offered some privacy. Their dog run was perfect for our pups, but covered in poop. Watch for dog bombs. The other campers were quiet, mostly retired snowbirds. The wifi was terrible, but that's really no surprise.
