Previous posts are still accurate. Better to enter via Quail Ave which is before the GPS directed entrance. Takes you into the C, then B loops right away. Appreciated the tall water spigot. The sunset of the lake is beautiful. The park is large making it great for a long walk after a day's drive.

A 7 mile drive off of I 80 the campground was secluded and quiet. There were several loops to choose from, first come first serve. Pay in a drop box. Loop A had full hookups with 50 amp. Plenty of walking area for the dog. Playground and swimming area was available. The restroom facility at A was old and in need of work.

We stayed at Littlefield Rec area for one night on a cross country trip from MN to CA. It’s a little ways off the main road but we felt it was worth the extra few miles. It just so happened that this stay was also our first stay in our new camper!
Coming from someone who has never camped with a travel trailer before, we felt this campground was extremely accessible and easy to navigate. There are 4 different camping areas, one of which is right off the main road (electric/water), another which is just down the road a bit (full hook up here), and 3 more loops that are all pretty close together (water/electric). The prices of the different spots vary by a few dollars, from $15-20, with the $20 sites having water, electric & sewer.
One thing we noticed was that the water/electric hook-ups were placed kind of randomly. They were often on opposite sides of one another and were pretty far from the site. More experienced campers probably have longer hoses and cords than we do but something to take note of.
The sites were a little close together, but we pulled in on a Sunday so it was pretty empty. It was obvious it had been a busy weekend though because the trash bins were overflowing!
The only real negative was that there was no firewood available. There were signs posted that wood could be purchased at that office but when i drove the 1.5 miles back to the office there were signs saying it was closed. Granted it was later on a Sunday evening, but it was a bummer to miss out on a fire at such a beautiful spot.
We would definitely stay again if we were traveling through the area.
